Exchange and warranty for this Volvo V50 turbo

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Volvo V50 is not left off the road unnecessarily. A 12-month parts warranty applies, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, up to 10 instalments.

Fitting advice to protect your turbo

Before fitting this turbo to your Volvo V50, check the oil circuit (feed and return hoses), the condition of the air intake, the air filter and the intercooler — these are often responsible for premature turbocharger failure. Using a good-quality engine oil, changed in line with manufacturer recommendations, reduces the risk of sludge build-up and overheating. When starting up for the first time, prime the turbo with oil before the initial start, and drive gently for the first few kilometres to allow even lubrication throughout.
