This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of your old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Fiesta is never left off the road. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, provided fitting is carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over up to 10 instalments.

Advice before fitting the turbo on the 1.6 TDCi

On this DV6ATED4 engine, the majority of turbo failures are caused by lubrication problems — typically incorrect oil grade, a clogged oil filter or missed oil changes. A blocked air filter or a damaged intercooler can also cause irregular boost pressure and accelerate wear. Before fitting the new turbo, check the condition of the oil circuit, make sure the hoses are clean and look for any air intake leaks. When starting up for the first time, prime the oil circuit before cranking the engine to ensure the turbo is lubricated immediately from the very first revolutions.
