This reconditioned gearbox is designed for the Audi A1 fitted with the 1.4 TFSI engine (1390 cm³), and is compatible with engine codes CAXA, CAVG, CTHG, CZCA and CZEA. It corresponds to reference NUA, a 7-speed S tronic dual-clutch gearbox fitted to this model. The reconditioning process involves a full strip-down, thorough cleaning and rigorous inspection of every component, replacement of all internal wear parts including gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and a bench test.

Exchange basis – no need to take your vehicle off the road

This reconditioned gearbox, reference NUA, is sold on an exchange basis: it is dispatched and fitted before the old unit is collected. Your original gearbox casing or unit therefore remains in your possession throughout the installation, avoiding any downtime for your vehicle or workshop ramp. Once the reconditioned gearbox has been fitted, the old unit must be returned in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

What is not included with this gearbox

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is neither supplied nor included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and the vehicle's original unit must be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied with the reconditioned gearbox reference NUA.
