This reconditioned S tronic 6 gearbox is designed for Audi A3 models fitted with the 2.0 TDI engine (1968 cm³), covering engine codes BKD, AZV, BMM, BMN, CBAB, CFFB, CFGB, CBBB, CRBC, CRFC and CLHA. It carries reference HXS and replaces a dual-clutch gearbox worn by high mileage, rebuilt to manufacturer specifications throughout.

S tronic 6 gearbox reconditioning

Every HXS gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected component by component. Any gears, synchros, bearings and seals showing signs of wear are systematically replaced. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer specifications and bench-tested before dispatch.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is neither reconditioned nor tested — it remains the vehicle's original unit and must be reused by you during fitting. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied with this S tronic 6 gearbox.

Exchange basis: the reconditioned unit is dispatched before your old one is collected

This HXS gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: the reconditioned gearbox is sent to you first, before your old unit is collected. Your used gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the new gearbox has been delivered and fitted, so your vehicle is never left off the road. Return of the old gearbox is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
