This reconditioned S tronic 6 gearbox is compatible with the Audi A3 3.2 TFSI, a 3189 cm³ petrol engine fitted with engine codes BDB, BMJ or BUB, and carries the reference GYC. Reconditioning follows a rigorous process: full strip-down of the gearbox, cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench testing prior to dispatch.

The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included and fully reconditioned as part of the GYC reference reconditioning.

Exchange Basis

This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: it is rebuilt to 0 km and dispatched immediately, without waiting for the old unit to be returned. The garage is therefore never left without a gearbox and the vehicle is not off the road. Once the new gearbox has been delivered and fitted, the old gearbox, with its casing intact, must be returned; return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
