It is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected; gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced as required, before being reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and tested on a bench. The reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first, so the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is not off the road for any longer than necessary. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the RYK gearbox has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
