This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for Volkswagen Transporter models fitted with a 2.0 TDI engine of 1968 cm³, compatible with engine codes CAAA, CAAB, CAAC, CFCA, CXFA, CXGA, CXHA and DJKA. It corresponds to reference SDJ and replaces a gearbox worn by the demands of heavy commercial use.

The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested prior to dispatch, ensuring performance that meets the original factory specifications.

Exchange basis: your workshop keeps running

Under this exchange arrangement, the reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox reference SDJ is dispatched to your workshop first. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after delivery and fitting of the new unit — meaning your vehicle or ramp is never left standing while you wait for a prior return. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

What is not included

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: it is neither supplied nor included in the sale, is not reconditioned or tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused during fitting. The dual-clutch assembly is, however, supplied with this gearbox.

Warranty and payment

This reconditioned gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment for your order can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
