This reconditioned gearbox is designed for the Peugeot 5008 fitted with the 1.6 HDi engine (1560 cm³), compatible with engine codes 9HZ (DV6TED4), 9HR (DV6C) and 9HC (DV6C), under reference 20DS85. It is a BMP6 unit: fully stripped, cleaned and inspected, with gears, synchros, bearings and seals replaced as required by wear, then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

On this automated gearbox, several warning signs indicate advanced wear: pronounced juddering during gear changes, abnormal lag between ratios, the gearbox warning light illuminated on the dashboard, the unit forcing itself into limp mode, metallic noise in neutral or during slow manoeuvres, and a sensation of slipping under acceleration despite a stable engine speed. Exchange basis: immediate delivery, deferred return

This reconditioned gearbox is sold on an exchange basis, rebuilt to 0 km. The gearbox is delivered first, before the old unit is collected, so that the garage is never left without parts and the vehicle is not kept off the road. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after delivery and fitting of the reference 20DS85 gearbox. Its return is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This BMP6 gearbox is sold without the actuator module: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer.

Warranty and payment
