This reconditioned gearbox for the Renault Clio 1.0 TCe (999 cm³) is compatible with H4D, H4D450 and H4D470 engines and corresponds to reference JR5070. This 5-speed manual gearbox transmits the power of the turbocharged 1.0 TCe unit – an engine whose high torque for its capacity places considerable demands on the synchros and internal bearings. Reconditioning follows a rigorous process: the gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected, then its internal wear components (gears, synchros, bearings and seals) are replaced according to the condition found. It is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

This arrangement allows professional garages to meet their turnaround times without waiting for the old gearbox to be returned. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted. Its return is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
