This reconditioned gearbox for the Skoda Yeti 1.4 TSI, paired with the CAXA engine of 1390 cm³, carries the reference PRG and is a 6-speed manual gearbox designed to replace a worn original unit without any compromise on reliability. Reconditioned means the gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected, its internal wear components are replaced, and it is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

This work covers in particular the gears, synchros, bearings and seals – the components that take the most punishment in a 6-speed manual gearbox such as that of the Yeti 1.4 TSI.

The old unit is not collected before delivery: the reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first so it can be fitted to the vehicle straight away, avoiding any need to leave the garage without a part. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after delivery and installation of the replacement unit. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment

The gearbox comes with a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
