This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox for the SEAT Altea 1.6 TDI is compatible with the CAYC engine (1598 cm³) and corresponds to reference PVX. The reconditioning process follows a rigorous procedure: full strip-down of the mechanism, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of gears, synchros, bearings and seals, then reassembly to manufacturer tolerances followed by bench testing before dispatch.

The original casing or block, kept intact, is only collected after the reconditioned gearbox has been delivered and fitted, so the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is not off the road. Return of the old gearbox is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is neither reconditioned nor tested and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer during fitting. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included and reconditioned as part of the complete mechanism.

Compatibility

Reference PVX is suitable for SEAT Altea vehicles fitted with the CAYC engine in 1.6 TDI specification, with an engine capacity of 1598 cm³.

Warranty and payment

This reconditioned gearbox carries a 24-month parts warranty, valid subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
