Reconditioned DSG 6 Gearbox for Volkswagen Eos 2.0 TDI
This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox is designed for Volkswagen Eos models fitted with the 2.0 TDI engine (1968 cm³), covering engine codes BMM, CBAB and CFFB, under reference JPJ. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of any worn gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.
Several signs indicate that a DSG 6 gearbox needs replacing:
- juddering or jerking during gear changes;
- slipping felt under acceleration;
- gearbox warning light illuminated on the dashboard;
- unusual metallic noise when changing gear;
- loss of power transmitted to the wheels;
- gearbox stuck in limp mode.
These symptoms point to internal mechanical wear that warrants fitting a reconditioned gearbox.
This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included and reconditioned along with the rest of the internal mechanism of this reference JPJ gearbox.
This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: the reconditioned unit is dispatched before the old unit is collected. The garage is therefore never left without a part and the vehicle is not off the road. Once the JPJ gearbox has been fitted, the old gearbox — casing and block intact — is collected; return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
