This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox for the Volkswagen Golf 1.6 TDI is compatible with CAYB, CAYC, CLHA and CRKB engines of 1598 cm³ and corresponds to reference LST. Each unit is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected before reassembly: gears, synchros, bearings and worn seals are systematically replaced, and the whole assembly is rebuilt to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. Fitting this gearbox restores smooth, reliable gear changes to the Golf 1.6 TDI.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is neither reconditioned nor tested, is not supplied or included in the sale, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer during fitting. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is part of the reconditioned unit.

This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: the old unit is not collected before delivery. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the new gearbox has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. This process ensures continuity of work for trade customers whilst complying with the return procedures set out in the Terms and Conditions.

This DSG 7 gearbox reference LST is compatible with Volkswagen Golf models fitted with 1.6 TDI engines coded CAYB, CAYC, CLHA and CRKB, with an engine capacity of 1598 cm³. It is a direct replacement for the original gearbox fitted to these diesel variants.
