This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox is designed for Volkswagen Touran models fitted with the 2.0 TDI engine (1968 cm³), reference HQM. Reconditioning follows a rigorous process: the gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected, then its gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced according to the wear found. It is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.
Signs that your DSG 6 gearbox needs replacing
On a Touran fitted with this dual-clutch automatic transmission, several warning signs should not be ignored: jerking or juddering during gear changes, slipping under acceleration, the gearbox warning light illuminating on the dashboard, the vehicle dropping into limp mode for no apparent reason, unusual noise at low speed, or a noticeable loss of power on pull-away.
