This reconditioned gearbox fits the Volkswagen Touran 1.6 petrol, with a 1595 cm³ engine capacity and engine codes BGU, BSE and BSF, under reference HBJ. It is a 6-speed manual gearbox, fully reconditioned before being returned to service.

Reconditioning follows a rigorous process: the gearbox is completely stripped down, every component is cleaned and inspected, internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced, before the unit is reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and tested on a bench.

It is delivered before the old unit is collected: the garage receives the reconditioned gearbox first and can fit it without leaving the vehicle off the road. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after delivery and fitting of the new unit; return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and payment

This gearbox comes with a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
