This reconditioned gearbox is designed for the Opel Astra fitted with the 1.7 CDTi engine (1686 cm³), compatible with engine codes Z17DTL, Z17DTH, Z17DTR, A17DTR and A17DTE, under reference GETRAG-A2K. A 6-speed manual unit, it is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected: worn gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced, before the whole assembly is rebuilt to manufacturer tolerances and validated on a test bench.

The old unit is not collected before delivery: the reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first, allowing the garage to carry on working without any downtime. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after delivery and fitting of the new unit. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
