Reconditioned Audi A1 1.4 TFSI S tronic 7 Gearbox – Reference MLL
This reconditioned gearbox for the Audi A1 1.4 TFSI, a 1390 cm³ petrol engine, is available under reference MLL as a direct replacement for a worn or faulty S tronic 7 unit. Every gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected; internal wear components such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced before the unit is reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and tested on a bench.
Signs that your S tronic 7 needs replacing
On an Audi A1 fitted with this dual-clutch gearbox, several warning signs should not be ignored: juddering or jerking during gear changes, slipping under acceleration, slow or hesitant gear shifts, abnormal noise whilst driving, the gearbox warning light illuminating on the dashboard, or a noticeable loss of power whilst driving.
Exchange basis: immediate delivery, deferred return of the old unit
This gearbox, reference MLL, is sold on an exchange basis: it is rebuilt and dispatched first, without waiting for your old gearbox to be received. The garage is therefore never left waiting for a part. The old gearbox – casing or block intact – is only collected after the reconditioned gearbox has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
The dual-clutch assembly is included in the sale of this gearbox. However, this gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is neither supplied nor included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer.
