This reconditioned gearbox is designed for the Citroën C2 fitted with the 1.4 HDi engine (1398 cm³) and corresponds to reference 20CQ40. It replaces the original SensoDrive unit – an electronically controlled automated manual gearbox whose internal components wear over time through repeated gear changes. Reconditioning follows a rigorous process: full strip-down, cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench testing before dispatch.

With this exchange gearbox, the reconditioned unit (reference 20CQ40) is dispatched first, so the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is not off the road unnecessarily. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected once the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the SensoDrive actuator: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer.

Warranty and payment

This reconditioned gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
