This reconditioned gearbox is designed for the Ford Transit fitted with the 2.0 EcoBlue engine of 1996 cm³, under reference KK2R-7002-FGD. Reconditioning a gearbox means it is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected, its internal wear parts replaced, then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances before undergoing a bench test. Gears, synchros, bearings and seals are among the components systematically checked and replaced where necessary, restoring performance equivalent to that of a new gearbox. Reference KK2R-7002-FGD fits a six-speed manual gearbox, well regarded for its robustness on commercial versions of the Transit.
