The reconditioning process involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, followed by thorough cleaning and inspection of every component. Internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced, and the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances before undergoing a bench test to validate the correct operation of reference PK6028.
