Reconditioned Renault Trafic 2.5 dCi Gearbox – Reference PF6013
This reconditioned gearbox for the Renault Trafic 2.5 dCi has an engine capacity of 2463 cm³ and is compatible with the G9U 630 and G9U 730 engines, supplied under reference PF6013. This 6-speed manual gearbox is fitted to a large number of Trafic vans used in heavy-duty service, which explains the accelerated wear on the synchros and internal bearings.
Several signs point to a failing manual gearbox: increasingly stiff or jerky gear changes, crunching in 2nd or 3rd, gears jumping out at idle, difficulty finding neutral, vibrations or a rumbling noise while driving, and sometimes an oil leak at the casing. As soon as these symptoms appear, it is advisable to act before the wear spreads to other transmission components.
Reconditioning this gearbox follows a rigorous process: complete strip-down of the mechanism, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of worn gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench testing before dispatch. This method ensures performance that meets original specifications.
This PF6013 gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: the reconditioned gearbox is delivered and fitted first, avoiding any vehicle downtime or leaving the axle without a unit. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and installed. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
