Reconditioned Renault Trafic 1.9 dCi Gearbox – Reference PK5011

This reconditioned gearbox is designed for Renault Trafic vans fitted with the 1.9 dCi engine (engine codes F9Q760, F9Q762, engine capacity 1870 cm³) and corresponds to reference PK5011. As a van used heavily day in, day out, the Trafic puts its transmission components under considerable strain. Our reconditioning process is thorough: the gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected component by component; worn internal parts – gears, synchros, bearings and seals – are replaced as required; the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

Signs That Your Gearbox Needs Replacing

On a Trafic 1.9 dCi, several warning signs point to a worn manual gearbox: gear changes that become stiff or crunchy, a gear jumping out on its own whilst driving, crunching when selecting second or fifth, juddering felt through the clutch, a dull rumble in neutral, or persistent difficulty engaging reverse. An oil leak at the casing or output shafts should also be taken seriously.

Exchange Gearbox – Rebuilt to 0 km

This gearbox is part of our exchange range, rebuilt to 0 km: it is reassembled and tested to the same standard as a new unit before being dispatched. With this arrangement, the old unit is not collected before delivery: the reconditioned gearbox reference PK5011 is sent out first and fitted to the vehicle, so the garage is never left without a part and the Trafic is not off the road any longer than necessary. The old gearbox – casing and block intact – is only collected after delivery and installation; return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment

This gearbox comes with a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
