This reconditioned 6-speed manual gearbox fits the Skoda Rapid 1.2 TSI, a 1197 cm³ petrol engine, compatible with engine codes CBZB and CJZC; it is supplied under reference NTD. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of all internal wear parts: gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch under reference NTD.

This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: the reconditioned unit is dispatched first, so the garage is never left without a gearbox and the vehicle is kept off the ramp for as little time as possible. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected once the new unit has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
