This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for Volkswagen Golf models fitted with a 1.4 TSI engine of 1390 cm³, reference NQK. It is compatible with engine codes BMY, BLG, CAXA, CAVD, CXSA, CPTA, CZCA and CZEA. The reconditioning process includes a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and a bench test.

Signs that your DSG 7 gearbox needs replacing

On a Golf 1.4 TSI fitted with this transmission, several warning signs should alert the driver: juddering or jerking during gear changes, slipping felt under acceleration, the automatic gearbox warning light illuminated on the dashboard, late or harsh gear shifts, unusual noise in neutral, or loss of drive to the wheels. This gearbox, reference NQK, is sold on an exchange basis, rebuilt to 0 km. The reconditioned unit is dispatched first, before the old gearbox is collected. The old unit — casing or block intact — is only collected after delivery and installation of the NQK gearbox, so the garage is never left without a part and the axle is never off the road. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: it is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly is, however, included with this gearbox.
