Signs that this DSG 6 gearbox needs replacing

Several symptoms indicate advanced wear on this dual-clutch gearbox:

Exchange basis: reconditioning and delivery

The gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected; internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced, then the unit is reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. Under the exchange scheme, the old unit is not collected before delivery: the reconditioned gearbox reference LRK is dispatched first, so the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is not off the road. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after delivery and fitting, and its return remains mandatory in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied with this gearbox.

Compatibility

This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox is compatible with vehicles fitted with engine codes CCZA, CCZB, CHHB and CJXC; compatibility with the vehicle should be confirmed before ordering.

Warranty and payment

This gearbox is sold with a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, with up to 10 instalments available.
