This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for Volkswagen Golf models fitted with a 1.6 TDI engine of 1598 cm³, covering engine codes CAYB, CAYC, CLHA and CRKB, under reference PYS. Reconditioned means the gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected, with all internal wear parts – including gears, synchros, bearings and seals – replaced before being reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested prior to dispatch.
Signs that your DSG 7 gearbox needs replacing
