This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox fits the Volkswagen Golf 2.0 TDI (1968 cm³) and carries the reference QSD. It is compatible with engine codes BKD, AZV, BMM, BMN, CBAB, CFFB, CFHC, CFGB, CRBC, CRLB, CRMB, DCYA and DFGA. Every QSD gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected; gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced as required by the wear found, before the unit is reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested prior to dispatch.

Signs that your DSG 6 gearbox needs replacing

On a Golf 2.0 TDI fitted with this dual-clutch gearbox, several warning signs should not be ignored: juddering on pull-away, slipping between ratios, harsh or delayed gear changes, the gearbox warning light illuminated on the dashboard, limp mode engaging for no apparent reason, vibrations under acceleration, or a sharp clunk when changing gear. These symptoms are often a sign of advanced internal wear within the gearbox.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is neither reconditioned nor tested, is not supplied or included in the sale, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer during fitting. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included with this QSD gearbox.

Exchange basis: the old unit is collected after delivery

This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: the old unit is not collected before delivery. The reconditioned QSD gearbox is dispatched first, so the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle does not need to be off the road any longer than necessary. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the reconditioned gearbox has been delivered and fitted; return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This reconditioned gearbox comes with a 12-month parts warranty, valid subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment for the QSD reference can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
