This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for Volkswagen Golf models fitted with a 2.0 TDI engine of 1968 cm³, under reference SWU. It is compatible with vehicles whose engine block carries one of the following engine codes: BKD, AZV, BMM, BMN, CBAB, CFFB, CFHC, CFGB, CRBC, CRLB, CRMB, DCYA or DFGA.

Any gears, synchros, bearings and seals showing signs of wear are replaced, and the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances before undergoing bench testing. The dual-clutch assembly is included and reconditioned along with the gearbox. However, this gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, which you must reuse.
Exchange Basis – Gearbox Rebuilt to 0 km
The reconditioned gearbox is dispatched before the old unit is collected, so your vehicle is not left immobilised on the ramp. Once the new gearbox has been delivered and fitted, the old gearbox – with its casing intact – is collected: return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
