The Lancia Zeta was fitted with petrol engines ranging from 1.8 to 2.0 litres, producing up to 150 hp, and diesel engines from 1.9 to 2.1 litres, producing up to 110 hp. From 1994 to 1999, it was exclusively equipped with a 5-speed manual BE3/5 gearbox, valued for its versatility and robustness, and equally well suited to petrol and diesel engines.
Its operation is straightforward: the gear lever selects the ratio by actuating the selector forks, which engage the corresponding gears.
