It is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected before reassembly: every internal wear part is replaced as required, then the engine is rebuilt to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

Exchange basis: keeping your workshop running
This engine is sold on an exchange basis: the reconditioned unit is dispatched to your workshop first, before your old block is collected. This avoids any downtime whilst waiting for a return. Your old engine – casing or block intact – is only collected after the reconditioned engine has been delivered and fitted, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions: return of the old unit is required.
A deposit is taken at the time of ordering. It is refunded after delivery, fitting, and receipt of the returned old unit.

This engine, referenced 8HR, is sold as a bare engine. The exact details of what is included with this 8HR engine are specified on the quote drawn up before your order, to avoid any confusion about what accompanies the block.
