This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for the Volkswagen New Beetle fitted with the 1.6 TDI engine (1598 cm³ capacity, engine code CAYC), under reference PMK. The reconditioning process involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of all internal wear parts including gears, synchros, bearings and seals. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is neither reconditioned nor tested — it remains the vehicle's original unit and must be reused during fitting. The dual-clutch, however, is included in this sale and is reconditioned along with the gearbox.
