This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for Volkswagen Passat models fitted with the 1.8 TSI engine of 1798 cm³, covering engine codes CDAA, CDAB and CJEB, under reference NAT. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of all internal wear parts including gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. This process restores smooth, reliable gear changes comparable to those of a new gearbox.

Exchange Basis: Your Workshop Is Never Left Standing

This reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first, before the old unit is collected. Your original gearbox – casing and block intact – is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted, so the vehicle is never left stranded on the ramp. This arrangement ensures continuity of work in your workshop, with no prolonged vehicle downtime. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment

This reconditioned gearbox reference NAT is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. The parts warranty covers the internal components replaced during reconditioning, provided the unit is fitted in accordance with manufacturer recommendations. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
