This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox is designed for Volkswagen Polo models fitted with the 2.0 TSI engine (1984 cm³), covering engine codes DKZ, CZPB and DGVA. It carries reference TLV and replaces a dual-clutch automatic gearbox worn by repeated juddering or slipping.

Signs That Your DSG Gearbox Needs Replacing

On a Polo 2.0 TSI fitted with the DSG 6, several warning signs point to advanced gearbox wear:

Reconditioning & Exchange

Every TLV gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected component by component. Gears, synchromesh rings, bearings and seals are replaced as required, and the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances before undergoing a bench test. The dual-clutch assembly is included in this reconditioned gearbox and forms part of the components checked during reassembly.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is neither reconditioned nor tested — it remains the vehicle's original unit and must be reused by the customer.

Deferred Exchange

The reconditioned gearbox, reference TLV, is delivered before the old unit is collected: the garage is therefore never left without a gearbox and the vehicle is not off the road. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the new unit has been delivered and fitted. Its return remains required in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty & Payment

This TLV gearbox comes with a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
