This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox is designed for Skoda Octavia models fitted with the 2.0 TDI engine (1968 cm³), reference QSE. It is the ideal solution for the many diesel Octavia owners experiencing automatic dual-clutch gearbox failure — one of the most common causes of vehicle downtime. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of gears, synchros, bearings and seals as required by wear. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.
Signs that your DSG 6 gearbox needs replacing
On a Skoda Octavia 2.0 TDI, a worn DSG 6 gearbox typically shows the following symptoms:
- juddering or jerking during gear changes;
