This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for the Volkswagen Polo fitted with the 1.6 TDI engine (1598 cm³), compatible with engine codes CAYB and CAYC, under reference NBC. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down, thorough cleaning and detailed inspection of every component. Wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced, and the gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances before being tested on a bench.

Return of the old gearbox is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: it is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and the vehicle's original unit is to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included and forms part of the reconditioning of this NBC gearbox.
