This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox for the Volkswagen Tiguan 2.0 TDI (1968 cm³) is supplied under reference QYQ and covers engine codes CBAB, CFFB, CFGB, CUVC and DFGA. This 7-speed dual-clutch unit is fitted to a wide range of diesel Tiguan models and is a known weak point when subject to prolonged internal wear. Reconditioning means the gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected; all wear components — including gears, synchros, bearings and seals — are replaced, and the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. The dual-clutch assembly is included within this reconditioning process.

The old gearbox — casing and block intact — is only collected after the reconditioned gearbox has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: it is neither supplied nor included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer.
