Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of all internal wear parts including gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

The old gearbox — casing and block intact — is only collected once the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is among the components inspected and refitted on this NTT gearbox.
