This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. The old unit is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your 208 is not left off the road during the repair. A 12-month parts warranty applies, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over up to 10 instalments.
Advice before fitting on a 208 1.6 THP
Before installing this new turbo on your 208, check the condition of the oil circuit (hoses and return line), as inadequate lubrication is one of the most common causes of failure on this type of turbocharged engine. Also check the air filter and intercooler, and ensure there are no air intake leaks, to prevent premature contamination of the new turbo. On first start-up, priming the turbo with oil is recommended to ensure the bearings are lubricated immediately from the moment the engine fires. Allowing the engine to warm up gradually before driving hard will avoid stressing the turbo when cold.
