Not sure you've found the right part?
Identifying the right turbo for your Audi A4 (RS4)
Before placing an order, the first step is to check the reference printed on the label of your old turbo or on your vehicle registration document, to confirm it matches the main reference 18539880070 or one of its equivalents. This new turbo is compatible with the 2.9 TFSI Bi-turbo 450 hp engine (DECA engine code) fitted to the Audi A4 in its RS4 variant – a 2894 cm³ petrol unit designed to deliver instant response and high torque across the entire rev range.
A new turbo engineered for 2.9 TFSI reliability
On this bi-turbo engine, both turbines operate continuously under high pressure and temperature, placing considerable demands on lubrication. Insufficient oil quality, missed oil changes, a clogged air filter or a poorly maintained intercooler can all accelerate bearing wear and lead to premature failure. Repeated high-rev driving without allowing the engine to cool down before switching off can also weaken the assembly.
Exchange basis and warranty on this turbo
This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required; however, it is only collected after the new part has been delivered and fitted, so your Audi A4 is never left off the road unnecessarily. The part comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Points to check before fitting
Before installation, inspect the oil circuit (hoses, feed and return lines), the air intake and the condition of the intercooler to prevent any contamination of the new turbo. When starting up for the first time, pre-priming with oil is recommended to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings from the very first start.
