Not sure you've found the right part?
The new turbo built for the demanding use of the Toyota Hiace
The Toyota Hiace is a commercial vehicle designed for delivery rounds, passenger transport or heavy loads, often over long distances and at full capacity. This kind of professional use places considerable strain on the turbocharger, which runs continuously at high speeds to supply the diesel engine with the air pressure it needs. Frequent stop-start driving, short journeys or poor lubrication maintenance all accelerate turbo wear, particularly at the bearings and shaft.
To meet these demands, we offer a new turbo compatible with reference V41VED, designed to fit the Toyota Hiace.
Engine compatibility for the turbo on the Hiace
This turbo is compatible with the Toyota Hiace fitted with the 3.0 D-4D engine, a 2982 cm³ diesel identified by engine code 1KD-FTV. Before placing an order, we recommend checking the exact reference printed on the old turbo as well as the vehicle's serial number, as certain equipment variants may exist depending on the market.
Exchange and warranty
This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. The return only takes place after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so the vehicle is not left off the road. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Fitting advice for the Hiace
Before installation, check the condition of the oil circuit (pressure and cleanliness), the intake hoses and the air intake, to prevent any further premature failure. Also check the condition of the air filter and intercooler — two components that are often overlooked but directly affect the service life of the turbo. When starting up, prime the turbo with oil before the first engine start, then let it idle for a few moments to allow the bearings to lubricate correctly. Regular oil changes using a good-quality oil suited to the application remain essential to protect this new turbo on a heavily used commercial vehicle.
