This reconditioned S tronic 6 gearbox is designed for the Audi A3 2.0 TDI (1968 cm³) and carries the reference KMX. It is suitable for vehicles fitted with the diesel engines associated with this dual-clutch gearbox. The reconditioning process involves a complete strip-down of the mechanism, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of all internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The KMX gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested prior to dispatch, ensuring performance equivalent to that of a new unit.

Exclusion: the mechatronic unit remains the original

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is neither reconditioned nor tested — it remains the vehicle's original unit and must be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included in the sale.
