Reconditioned Ford C-Max 1.6 EcoBoost Gearbox

This reconditioned gearbox is designed for the Ford C-Max fitted with the 1.6 EcoBoost engine (1596 cm³) and carries the reference BV6R-7002-KD. It is compatible with engine blocks identified by codes JQDA and JQDB, as fitted to this petrol variant. The gearbox is a 6-speed manual, fully reconditioned before being returned to service under reference BV6R-7002-KD.

Reconditioning follows a rigorous process: the gearbox is completely stripped down, every component is cleaned and inspected, wear items such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced, and the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

Signs That Your Gearbox Needs Replacing

On a C-Max 1.6 EcoBoost fitted with this manual gearbox, the following symptoms should not be ignored:

• Stiff or crunching gear changes, particularly in 2nd and 3rd
• Difficulty engaging reverse, or neutral jumping out
• Vibrations or judder felt during gear changes
• Metallic grinding noise under load at a steady speed

Exchange Basis: Delivery Before Return of the Old Unit

Under this exchange arrangement, the reconditioned gearbox is delivered first so that your vehicle is not left off the road. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the new unit has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment

This gearbox comes with a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment for this gearbox, reference BV6R-7002-KD, can be spread over multiple instalments – pay in up to 10 instalments.
