Not sure you've found the right part?
The new turbo designed for everyday use on the Audi A4 2.0 TFSI
The Audi A4 fitted with the 2.0 TFSI engine is frequently used for long road and motorway journeys, as well as urban driving punctuated by the sharp acceleration typical of this turbocharged petrol unit. This constant variation in engine load, combined with high boost pressure, places considerable strain on the turbocharger — particularly its bearings and wastegate actuator. A new turbo restores performance to factory specification, without the weaknesses of a worn part.
Compatibility with Audi A4 engines
This new turbo is compatible with reference F51CAF, used on the Audi A4 fitted with the 2.0 TFSI petrol engine, with an engine capacity of 1984 cm³. The engine codes covered are CAEA, CAEB, CDNB, CDNC and CFKA. Before placing an order, it is strongly recommended that you verify the exact reference printed on the old turbo or on the vehicle's manufacturer plate, as certain fitment variants may exist depending on the A4 version.
Exchange basis and warranty
This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so that the Audi A4 is not left off the road unnecessarily. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before and after fitting
On the 2.0 TFSI, premature turbo failure is most commonly caused by a lubrication fault linked to poor-quality oil, missed oil changes, or a clogged air filter restricting the air intake. Before fitting the new turbo, the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses and the cleanliness of the air intake, as well as the intercooler, should all be checked. On start-up, priming the turbo with oil is recommended to ensure the bearings are properly lubricated before any pressure builds up.
