This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so the Série 3 is never left off the road. The product is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Fitting advice to protect your new turbo
On the M57 D30, the majority of premature failures stem from inadequate lubrication: insufficient-quality engine oil, missed oil changes, or an oil feed hose clogged with carbon deposits. Before fitting, check the oil circuit, the cleanliness of the feed and return hoses, and the condition of the air filter and intercooler, as any build-up of deposits can disrupt intake pressure. On first start-up, prime the turbo with oil to ensure immediate bearing lubrication before the engine builds up to operating speed.
