This reconditioned gearbox for the Nissan Interstar 2.5 dCi, reference PK6030, is a 6-speed manual unit designed for G9U engines (G9U720, G9U724, G9U650, G9U632, G9U750) with an engine capacity of 2463 cm³. Reconditioning follows a rigorous process: the gearbox is fully stripped down, every component is cleaned and inspected, and internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch under reference PK6030.
Signs that your gearbox needs replacing
On an Interstar fitted with the 2.5 dCi, several warning signs should alert the driver before a complete failure occurs.
- Stiff or resistant gear changes, particularly when cold
- Crunching or grinding when selecting a gear
