This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so that the Focus is not left off the road during the work. A 12-month parts warranty applies, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

Before installing the new turbo, you should check the oil circuit, hoses and air intake, as insufficient lubrication, poor-quality oil or missed oil changes are among the most common causes of failure. It is also worth checking the condition of the air filter and the intercooler, and ensuring there are no leaks in the pipework. When starting the engine for the first time, it is advisable to prime the new turbo with oil to ensure the bearings are lubricated immediately from the moment the engine starts.
