Not sure you've found the right part?
A new turbo designed for everyday use in the Mokka
The Opel Mokka fitted with the 1.6 CDTI 110 is frequently used on mixed journeys – town, ring road and open road – sometimes with a full load (family, boot packed) that puts extra demand on the turbocharger. The frequent stop-start nature of urban driving, combined with short trips that prevent the turbo from reaching its optimum operating temperature, encourages the build-up of deposits and premature wear of the bearings. Fitting a new turbo restores proper performance and prevents a gradual loss of power or abnormal exhaust smoke.
Compatibility with the Mokka 1.6 CDTI engine
This new turbo is compatible with reference 814698-5004S, intended for the Opel Mokka 1.6 CDTI 110 diesel engines of 1598 cm³, associated in particular with engine codes B16DTL, B16DTU and B16DTN. Before placing an order, it is essential to check the reference shown on the old turbo or on your vehicle's engine plate, as certain engine variants may use turbos that are similar but not interchangeable.
Exchange basis and warranty on this turbo
This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of the old turbo is required, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Mokka is not left off the road. The part comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments – pay in up to 10 instalments – to make your purchase more manageable.
Advice before and after fitting
On the 1.6 CDTI, turbo failure is frequently caused by insufficient lubrication due to poor-quality oil or missed oil changes, a clogged air filter, or a damaged intercooler allowing contaminants through. Before fitting, check the oil circuit (feed and return hoses), the condition of the air intake, and that there are no metal particles in the ducts. After installation, it is essential to prime the turbo with oil before the first start-up, then drive gently for the first few kilometres to protect the new part.
