Before installation, check the condition of the oil circuit, the cleanliness of the lubrication hoses, and that there is no excessive play at the air intake, in order to prevent any further premature failure. Remember also to check the air filter and the condition of the intercooler — components that are often overlooked but have a direct impact on turbo service life. When starting up for the first time, prime the new turbo with oil before the initial engine start to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings as soon as the circuit comes up to pressure.
