This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is specifically designed for the Volkswagen Golf fitted with the 1.6 TDI engine (1598 cm³), under reference PML. It is compatible with vehicles fitted with engine codes CAYB, CAYC, CLHA and CRKB, and replaces a faulty gearbox without any compromise on reliability.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and it remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included with this reconditioned gearbox.

Exchange Basis: Delivery Without Downtime

This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis. The reconditioned gearbox is delivered first, allowing the garage to carry out the installation without delay. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after delivery and fitting of the new unit, so the vehicle is never left off the road unnecessarily. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment

This reconditioned gearbox is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
