A new turbo to restore all the performance of your Audi A6 2.0 TFSI
Behind the wheel of an Audi A6 fitted with the 2.0 TFSI Quattro engine, a turbo in good condition delivers immediate, crisp throttle response from low revs, smooth linear power delivery, and a complete absence of whistling or smoke under acceleration. When the turbo begins to wear, the saloon loses its characteristic refinement: hesitation on the throttle, a noticeable drop in torque on pick-up, the engine warning light coming on, and sometimes a faint blue haze from the exhaust. Fitting a new turbo restores that driving feel and prevents wear from spreading to other engine components.
Compatibility with the Audi A6 2.0 TFSI Quattro
This new turbo is compatible with reference 06L145722R, intended for the Audi A6 Quattro fitted with the 2.0 TFSI petrol engine (engine code CYMC, engine capacity 1984 cm³). Before placing an order, we recommend verifying this reference directly on the old turbo or on the vehicle registration document, as commercial designations may vary depending on the model year and market.
Exchange and warranty
This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Audi A6 is not left off the road unnecessarily. The part comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before and after fitting
On the CYMC engine, turbo longevity is closely linked to the quality and freshness of the engine oil: follow the oil change intervals strictly, using an oil that meets the manufacturer's specifications. A clogged air filter or a cracked intercooler can also accelerate premature turbo wear by disrupting the air intake. Before fitting, check the condition of the oil circuit, the lubrication hoses and the air intake to rule out any residual contamination. On start-up, prime the turbo with oil to ensure the bearings are lubricated immediately and to avoid any dry running during the first engine revolutions.
